On October 11, Great Wall Motors and the Polar Research Institute of China successfully held the Signing Ceremony for Cooperation on China’s Arctic and Antarctic Expeditions. Boasting outstanding adaptability to extreme cold environments, reliable product quality and leading complete vehicle technologies, Great Wall Motors has passed rigorous tests under simulated polar conditions and will participate in China’s Antarctic scientific expedition mission for the first time.
Great Wall Motors’ Baoding Technical Center houses China’s first environmental wind tunnel laboratory, capable of accurately simulating extreme cold temperatures down to -40°C, and boasts a full-scenario verification system covering over 2,000 test items.
