During the commissioning and operation phase of the Seyni Terminal on the Niger-Benin Crude Oil Export Pipeline, the team from Ducheng Industrial overcame numerous challenges posed by harsh local conditions including high salinity and high humidity, drawing on profound industry experience and consummate technical expertise. In particular, when some spare parts such as resistors sustained damage during transportation, Zhao Zihao, Ducheng Industrial’s on-site service engineer, responded promptly and collaborated closely with the EPC team to conduct equipment inspections and troubleshooting. This ensured the smooth commissioning of four medium-voltage inverters from imported brands deployed for the terminal’s ship loading pumps, providing solid support for the successful initial ship loading operation at the terminal.

Months on, the Seyni Terminal has maintained stable operation with support from Ducheng Industrial, and crude oil ship loading operations are carried out efficiently on an ongoing basis.
This suite of efforts not only demonstrates Ducheng Industrial’s professionalism and sense of responsibility as an operation and service provider in the inverter industry, but also further elevates the brand image of China National Petroleum Corporation. The high recognition of Ducheng Industrial from the Operation Department of the Niger-Benin Pipeline Project, CNPC Niger Company, has laid a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation between the two parties. At present, both sides have launched deeper cooperation covering inverter maintenance, repair and spare parts services. They work together to advance the steady development of the project and contribute to the energy sector of Niger.
Though this cooperation concluded some time ago, its positive impact continues to unfold. It has set an exemplary benchmark for bilateral collaboration and also laid groundwork for Niger
